Copying these. THANKS!

Deb, are you still in ABQ or back in Durango?

Adding Artichoke Cafe to the list. I've been there 5 times in the last 7 months, and it is very very good.

Thanks for bringing this back up. Artichoke Cafe is on the list, it is indeed very good. We had our wedding dinner there!

We also had a nice brunch at The Grove Cafe and Market, 600 Central SW [Corner of Grove], recently. Very nice space, with outdoor tables. It is in a bit of an odd location - not Downtown and not Nob Hill but it was obviously busy enough to know that folks appreciate it. The area is called EDo [east of downtown] and is just west of I 25.

They use lots of local, organic, natural foods and it is done in a simple, but tasty, way. They have lunch and breakfast all day.

I have a couple to add to this list (can't find Deb's updated thread!).

Chez Axel
6209 Montgomery NE (at San Pedro)

Mr. Pickle and I had our belated anniversary there this evening, thanks to a two for one coupon in the Entertainment book. Nice atmosphere, great food (I had cassoulet, he had pork cutlets), live classical piano music, and very good service.

Richard's Mexican Restaurant
3301 Menaul Blvd. NE

We ate breakfast at Richard's Saturday morning; I had a bacon/egg/papitas breakfast burrito and Mr. Pickle had a chorizo/papitas skillet, both with flavorful, not too spicy red chile.

Richard's will do low-fat or low-carb dishes (my burrito was wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla), and they have a pretty good selection of vegetarian entrees.
