Alaskan Airlines - Safe?

Hi All

I will be using Alaskan Airlines for my honeymoon in September to fly between LA and Cancun as they seem to be the only direct fligh. Im from Australia so dont know much about the airline are they safe? Has anyone had a bad experience on them?

Thanks in Advance

They're perfectly safe and a better than average airline. You will have a great time in Cancun. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

It's Alaska Airlines, and yes, they're a good airline - quite big actually.

If you're a member of the Qantas frequent flyer plan you can get mileage credit on Alaska.

Mexicana (the biggest Mexican airline) also flies nonstop from LAX to Cancun.

Probably too late now but United (Ted) also provides N/S service between LAX and Cancun

This is the "alternative" airline run by Alaska Airlines. After browsing it for awhile and after you've picked yourself up off the floor from laughing, you'll know that any airline with a sense of humor like that should get your vote.

Yes, it's a very good airline.
