Alaska cruises in November?
My wife and I are having our 40th anniversary at the end of November. She wishes to take an Alaska cruise during that time. I have told her that might not be possible due to the weather. Does anyone know if any cruise lines even offer trips that late in the year, and if yes, would it be worth our money and time to take the trip that late in the year? I would like to see something besides all snow and ice. We have done an interior trip to Alaska including Seward and Resurrection Bay to Anchorage and on to the Arctic Circle, but that was in July. Any suggestions or comments. Thanks.

No there aren't any cruises at that time of year.
The state ferry runs year round between SE Alaska and Bellingham WA. It's not especially luxurious but (to me at least) it's a great trip - the ship passes silent, misty forests with snowy mountains behind, stops in tourist-free towns. You could board on a Friday evening in Bellingham (north of Seattle) and get off in Juneau on Monday, then fly back to Seattle. http://www.dot.state.ak.us/amhs/
Remember daylight gets very short in November, and the farther north you go it gets real short until it stops altogether.

The last cruises dock about the middle of September - and even those generally get really cold/wet weather. The ships then reposition to warmer parts of the globe
Take your cruise in summer -- just call it your "Anniversary celebration"

I'm with janisj on this one. DW and I had our 40th in November and we are going to Alaska in June.
We are flying to Anchorage and renting a car.
Late November would be the time to go to Hawaii instead of Alaska.
