Alaska Cruise?
 

Has anyone taken an Alaskan cruise.<BR>Any info would be greatly appreciated.<BR>Time to go? ship to take? what to see?<BR><BR>Thanks

took this cruise a few years ago -shipping line out of business now, but the scenery is breathtaking. Afterwards we rented a car in Anchorage, drove to Denali for a few days, whitewater rafted, toured the park, saw the mountain and then drove to Homer. Great time. Went in mid-June

Went on Sun Princess last June 24-July 1. WQeather ok, nice ship, good cruise. Check on the cruise travel talk forum

We took the Sea Princess last July. Other than the long flight from Honolulu to Vancouver we had just a wonderful time. Couldn't have asked for better weather. The scenery was spectacular, the glaciers were awesome, and the stops were fun.

I took a cruise out of Vancouver via Princess cruise lines last year. Stayed 2 days in Vancouver, loved the cruising and the scenery. Rented a van in Seward & drove north, first to Exit Glacier, then Anchorage & then to Talkeetna for a great float plane ride to Mt McKinley, landing on the glacier. Greatest trip I have ever had!

Took cruise last year on RCL on Majesty of the Seas. Had an absolute GREAT time.<BR><BR>Took helicopter ride and landed on a glacier... once in a lifetime opportunity!<BR><BR>Scenary is just magnificant.
