Aladdin - Hard Rock timetable
 

I am looking for accommodation in October and wondered if anyone knew if this changeover/renovation will be finished.
Also will it still be a Starwood Hotel?
There doesn't seem to be many Starwood properties in LV.

I'm confused. There is a Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas, but the Aladdin is becoming a Planet Hollywood. No?

In any case, if you are talking about Aladdin, they really should be done with all that by October. In fact they were supposed to be done with it by now.

Regarding remaining a Starwood property, I don't know. It's funny, you can go to the Starwood site and it will give you availability for the Aladdin for October, yet it never calls it Planet Hollywood, so who knows if the website is up to date or not.

I was in Vegas last week. Stopped in the Aladdin. Person I spoke with said the official name change will happen in October. Most of the renovation should be done in a couple months. New casino is quite different from all the others!!

October is quite far ahead. I'd start looking for promotions (for both the Aladdin and HR) around June. Try Broadwaybox.com/lasvegas - right now there's an Aladdin promotion there but it expires in April.

Sylvia, that was the point of my first post -- #2 in this thread, but my question seems to keep getting ignored.

Yes, the Aladdin is becoming Planet Hollywood - a lot of the changes are made and more are still in progress. It is supposed to be finished in the next several weeks. The Hard Rock has nothing to do with it - that's a separate entity over on Paradise.
