Alabama vacation "shark teeth fossils"
Planning a trip to Alabama in the spring. Interested in searching for shark teeth in central Alabama creeks and rivers with my young boys who are 9&7 and My brother with his 2 boys. Was wondering where would be a good place we could acess without being limited to a limit of teeth we could take home. I checked out sharktooth creek, but didnt like the time (1-1/2 hr) limit they gave on searching. Thanks.

Georgia and South Carolina are better suited for shark teeth fossils. There is two really great places. I will have to check my notes, but one was near Savannah and the other was near EDisto Beach, SC. I will post once I look up where my kids find all the teeth...

A little farther south in Venice, Florida, we've picked up hundreds of fossil shark teeth. The beach near the fishing peir, past the little airport is a good spot.
