Akron - good place to eat?
 

Hi all,<BR><BR>I will be in Akron this Saturday(1/18/03).<BR><BR>What's the best place to eat? We are not picky and price is no matter.<BR><BR>Thank you.

Assuming you mean Akron, OH, Tangiers on Market Street is good.

Do you not have anything better to do?<BR><BR>I left the question very open ended so I would receive a variety of responses. I'll give more detail in this post and hopefully none of the punk trolls on this board will give me one of their smart ass answers.<BR><BR>My wife and I will be in downtown Akron, Ohio tomorrow and are looking for a good place to eat dinner. The price is not important. We are not picky eaters and any type of cuisine would be fine. We are simply looking for a quality meal with good service.<BR><BR>Thank you.

Sorry Jeff but it is not possible for us to tell that you posted it under the Ohio message board. That only helps with searches later on. That said, I only know of one Akron.

Selecting a state when posting only helps in a later search, it does not move your question to an individual state board.

Hi Jeff<BR>Don't be angry, it is hard to tell what state unless it is listed. Coming from Akron I can recommend:<BR>Tangier <BR>Ken Stewarts Grill<BR>Triple Crown<BR>LeFever River Grill in Cuyahoga Falls 923-4233 and this is the one I would especially recommend...if you go, ask for a window seat facing the falls and if you like mashed potatoes ask for their lobster mashed potatoes!!!

Twenty years ago when I lived in Akron the Diamond Grill downtown had the best steaks anywhere. I'm glad to see it's still alive and well.

Jeff: you sound like you have some deep-seated anger-management issues. First of all, I didn't read xxx's response as being a smart-ass response. Seeing as how there is no seperate Ohio message board, the poster wanted to make sure he was on the same page. And no, Jeff, not everyone on this board assumes you're talking about Akron, Ohio. If I hadn't had the misfortune of attending college in that crappy state many years ago, I wouldn't have automatically thought of Ohio when seeing the name Akron. <BR><BR>Oh, I'm also not going to help you since you have such a bad attitude.
