airport to Molokai ferry
 

Anyone know the transportation options from the airport to the Molokai ferry? I'm trying to add up the costs and decide whether to fly into Maui or Honolulu. Honolulu shuttle is approximately $145 r/t and the ferry out of Maui is approx. $80 r/t. How much does it costs to get from Maui airport to the ferry? Does this sound like a word problem on a math test? I'm using ff miles to get us over there but will need to pay for the last leg.

I would expect it to be similar to the previously answered posts for transportation options to the Lanai ferry, since both depart from Lahaina harbor, Maui.:S-

Yowie! The taxi is $50 one way! Add a tip in there and it's basically the same price as flying. Forget the ferry(though I'm sure it's a pleasant trip), we'll fly to Molokai. Thank you, this is exactly what I needed to know to make decisions.

Having done the ferry day trip from Maui to Molokai-which incidentally turned out to be a great whale watch, we decided that if we return we will fly there instead to spend more ((o)) on Molokai. :S-
