Airport Security with no baggage

DH is flying out of Dulles to meet us in Denver. We will transport all of his luggage in our van. Should he anticipate problems with airport security since he will probably be flying with no baggage. (Ok maybe his toothbrush & razor)

I wouldn't expect any problems... many people don't check any luggage and many people don't fly with any carryon's. There's no real check to see if you don't have either.

My husband occasionally makes day trips down to LA from the Bay Area. Usually he has a brief-case type shoulder bag and that's it. A couple times he has flown with even less than that. He's never had a problem.

As long as he not carrying a Zippo or wearing an underwire bra he should be ok...

Um...what's the deal w/the underwire bras? Or was that a joke? :)

Going thru the personal security check at the airport, those folks do not know if you have luggage checked or not.

How do they know whether your husband has no luggage or a gigantic suitcase checked thru?
