Airfare to Maui in Sept from Portland, OR
 

I just need airfare for late sept to Maui from Portland, Or. I can't find it under 600 dollars. I have called agents, checked Orbitz, expedia, hotwire, and I can't find it. Am I being unreal to want to pay closer to 500 for MAui? Anybody know of any web sites that can get me a better rate?<BR>

Have you checked the airfares from LAX to Maui? And then you could maybe find a cheap RT airfare on SW or Alaska down to LAX. Probably a lot more airlines from LAX flying over there.

$600 is probably as low as you'll get. I bought tickets in January this year for a round-trip pdx to Kauai two weeks ago, and paid $545. It was the best deal I could get, and I didn't see any better between when I bought the tickets and when I traveled.

This is how we ended up in Spain last year--the airfare was on $50 more and I'd take Spain over anyplace. You might want to check it out.
