air conditioned condo on Kauai???
 

I've done quite abit of research looking for an air conditioned condo on Kauai. We stayed in a condo on the Coconut Coast and were really uncomfortable. The only ones with ac I've been able to find is at the Hanalei Bay Resort.<BR><BR>Anyone out there happen to have any information? Thanks

I have never been comfortable without air but I stay on North Shore. Your research is correct few places require so it is only at major hotels and HBR. <BR><BR>Not a condo but little places like the kauai Sands and Kauai Islander (I think) have.

As "sss" mentions, The Islander does have a/c, but since we've been going in Nov/Dec or Jan I don't recall ever using it. Then again, we usually get away with just using our ceiling fans during the Sacramento Valley summers...except for 2 weekends ago! <BR><BR>What month are you going?<BR><BR>No matter where you stay, try and get a room where you don't get the direct afternoon sunlight and the room is usually cooler during the eves.<BR><BR>Mahalo,<BR>Kal

Stayed at the Embassy Resort in Poipu and they had air conditioning. I was very pleased with the facilities. At first glance, the outer building didn't look like much when you got real up close. But it was nice!!!

Thanks for the replies. We always go in June and have stayed on the north shore, east coast and south shore. <BR><BR>We like the north shore for its beauty and was hoping to find a condo. We live in the south and are just used to the ac. Can't sleep unless it's freezing.
