Affordable Studio Condos on Maui
 

Hello everyone. I am looking for suggestions for affordable (%100 or so) studio condos on Maui that are on swimming beaches. Any suggestions? They don't need to be fancy, just clean and bug free. I was going to stay at the Noelani, which I heard is really nice, but with further research have found that the sandy beach it is adjacent to is murky and not too nice for swimming.

Last July we stayed at the Kihei Surfside on Keawakapu Beach for $125/nt for a one bedroom with an awesome view of the ocean and very clean and airy with a well stocked kitchen (supplies, not food). I wrote a report about it here: http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34436140

I would recommend a studio condo at Maui Kai-we were very happy in #306 last Christmas. See my trip report at:

There is a sandy beach directly beside the condo in front of the Embassy Suites.

Agree with Roxy - we also stayed at the Kihei. Great place. We rented through here, http://www.greathawaiivacations.com/...mls/MAI59C.HTM. Price was right. The property itself is not on a beach, but if you walk just to the property next door, there is a nice sandy beach.
