Affordable New England B&B's
 

Can anyone recommend a nice B&B that's about $100 (or less preferably) a nt in the New England area? I'd like to purchase a 2 nt stay for a young, active couple as a second marriage wedding gift. I am open to any area, except VT or MA. Thanks!

If you belong to Costco, you can purchase bed and breakfast.com gift certificates at a discount -- a $100 certificate costs 79.99. On their web site, you can click on gift certificates to find all the places that accept them -- I am going on two trips later this year and am having no difficulty in using them as long as they are listed on the site.

another option is to get the book Bed & Breakfast and Country Inns -- they have a buy one get one free certificate. Less places take them but, again, you can look that up on the internet. Only difference is they may have restrictions as to when it can be used -- not on weekends etc whereas the first has no restrictions.
