Affina 50 Hotel anyone been there?
 

Hi,
I just got what I think is a good rate at the Affina 50 Hotel in NYC and I was wondering if anyone has stayed there? Any comments welcome. We leave in 2 days!

Have you checked the tripadvisor reviews?

I've known many people who have stayed here and have liked it. It's an excellent location out of the main tourist areas, which will be a welcome relief after the crush of tourists. Duane Reade and supermarkets nearby.

Fyi, this hotel group own several other hotels that are also good and there are some good specials/prices on travelzoo.com and quikbook.com

Gets almost universally good reviews for a moderate hotel and has quite a convenient location for subway and walking to things in midtown.

Thank you all for your quick responses. We have a room with 2 queens (my husband, myself and 2 kids), so I think it will be adequate size wise. We leave tomorrow and are looking forward to seeing NYC again. Being hicks from Maine we really enjoy a dose of big city life. Thanks again!
