Shuttle from RSW to Naples, FL

Is there a shuttle service from Fort Myers airport to Naples, FL? Or is a cab the only way (other than renting a car, of course)?

There are some shuttles, eg,

I haven't used it, though.

Any time I've checked shuttles, there were extremely expensive I thought. When I didn't want to leave my car at the airport or didn't want friends to pick me up, I've actually rented a car just for a day (out of prime season it's about $25 to $30 a day with most discounts -- cheaper than any shuttle). Depending on where you're going, Budget will even take you to your final destination when you drop it off at their Naples office or pick you up if you need to pick up a car.

Those shuttle prices seem very reasonable... for 3 people to go from RSW to Naples for under $80 looks good, especially if you just need a drop off one time... Its over 35 Miles...

I thought those fares were very reasonable for 3 poeple also, given the distance. Some people cannot (or should not) drive for various reasons, or maybe have no need for a car that one day. My mother could not drive a car when she was older. Of tjat were tje only reason you needed one, I'd pay those shuttle prices instead, also. One day car reasons are pretty expensive and I've paid a lot more than $25-30 for a car in Naples area, I think the ones charging only $35 or not the names people would know (eg Advantage). Budget often charges over $50 a day there for short-term rentals to Naples from RSW.

You're right, Christina. Perhaps you missed my comment "out of prime season". And also I said something about using discounts -- for me that's usually Costco or BJ's. Even at double the price I usually pay, it still a cheaper than $79.

And of course I was working on the idea that the poster was just thinking that renting a car would be more expensive. I did not mean to suggest that if the person can't or shouldn't drive, they should do so anyway just to save money. I guess I thought most people would understand that.

Orangetravelcat1,
Did you find transportation yet? There is a woman in my neighborhood that does homewatch, airport transport services and the like. I can give her a call and see what she charges if you want me to. We live in Naples

When we wintered in Naples, the cost of a car service to and from RSW was more than made up for by the lower cost of rental cars. We usually rented for three or four months from Enterprise on Pine Ridge Road.
