Advance tickets for Pearl Harbor?

Is it possible to avoid the long lines at the Pearl Harbor memorial by buying tickets in advance here on the mainland or anywhere in Hawaii? I hope so! Please let me know what you know out there.
Thanx!

Not that I know of. For one thing there is no ticket to buy, the admission is free, and on a first-come basis. Each time I have been there I appreciated that I had time to wait, as there is more to Pearl Harbor than the Arizona memorial, and there is a lot to look at and absorb in the visitors center.

The tickets are free and are first come first served. And I believe all members of your party will have to be in line as they will not give all the tickets to one person. Avoid the long lines by going early (between 7:15-7:30am).

We went to Pearl Harbor on Saturday, Sept 14th ... arrived at 9:30 am and got tickets for 10:00 am. Arrive early for less wait. Also, no bags are allowed, including purses, camera bags, etc. Can only stay on Arizona Memorial 10 minutes due to security.

I think the ten minute limit on the Arizona Memorial is due to the fact that
that they are on a schedule and need to keep the crowd moving.
