Adirondacks or Poconos ?
 
we are traveling with a 10 and 17 year old and are not sure what would be nicer - to spend 4 days in the Adirondacks or the Pconos. we are into hikes, white water rafting and general fun. <BR>any suggestions?

there are a lot of details you're missing...where are you coming from?...driving?...budget?...Lake Placid is great...the Sagamore in Lake George...also Saratoga Springs...SSS
