Activities around Graves Mountain Lodge VA
 

Hello all!
My husband and I are staying at Graves Mountain Lodge for a weekend in August. We can do easy to moderate hikes. What are some good activities to do? Thanks!

If you are interested in history, James Madison's home, Montpelier, is not far away. the property has some "walking trails"

You'll be about 40 minutes from the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah NP. There are numerous hikes in the area; the hike to Mary's Rock is worth the moderate effort.
