I have to go to meetings in Phillie next week and need a place to stay for Sunday thru Tuesday nights.... everything seems booked ! I need 2 beds ...thats about it ...any suggestions ? Thanks!

15 minutes by what? By car, by public transport, on foot?

UPENN's commencement is next Monday, that's most likely why you can't find anything at this late stage. Does your meeting have rooms blocked at hotels?

If by car, I'd look at Cherry Hill, NJ; or even Wilmington, DE. Good luck.

Went to Kayak.com and found a few places that would meet your needs, but NONE are a good price, IMO. Either you pay a lot more money than a typical rate ($306 for a Comfort Inn!) or you stay a bit far from Center City (airport, suburbs, New Jersey).

Some places would allow you to get to Center City by mass transit without too much trouble, but I won't guarantee you could leave your room and be there in fifteen minutes.

I think your best bet would be to take the closest room you can afford, find out how long it would take to get to where you're going, and then wake up early enough to do so.

I'm in the same boat. We're trying to find a room for Wednesday night. We have reservations at Vetri and can't believe there is nothing for that night. All those Penn people must be staying in town and partying.

Starrs, I cannot believe that Inn at Penn would even have a broom closet for those nights. Good find.

I hope you had better luck than I had, pougirl. I couldn't find a room to save my life and had to cancel our reservation at Vetri. We ended up in Atlantic City instead. It just wasn't the same. poot.

Yes, yk, we were pretty disappointed. We've never been and were looking forward to it. We'll have to try some other time.

Check the Fairview Inn in Wilmington DE. Hotel is about 2 miles from the Amtrak Station. Rooms from $64 MAY be available. the Amtrak fare from Wilmington to 30th St. Station is $25 one way
