Olympia M<otor Lodge in Pacific Grove, Ca. The only way into the room was through a sliding glass door that had a tiny little latch that "locked" the door. There was no window in the room and the only way to get fresh air into the room was to leave the sliding glass door "unlocked" with the screen door open. This was on the first floor, and anyone could walk right into the room while you were sleeping. Any wonder that there was a horrible stale odor in the room? It never got any fresh air at all.

Econolodge in Tucson. It was listed in the AAA travel book. It was filthy, disgusting and had bugs crawling all over everything. I tried to explain this to the clerk, but he was in a pot fog.
