ACCOMIDATION FOR BOSTON IN OCTOBER

Hi,
Planning a trip to Boston in October. Would like info on accomidation.I would like something central.
I stayed at The Boston Park Plaza in 2000 but it was over priced and pretty bland.
Any advice on reasonable priced hotels or B&B or appartments would be appreciated.

My husband and I are staying at the Lenox Hotel in October. It's a smaller boutique style hotel a couple blocks from Newbury Street and near Copley Place so the location should be great.

How Central would you like? The Wyndham on Broad Street was a nice location, and the rooms were great. The prices weren't too bad, but I'm not sure what "good" is anymore!

I highly recommend the Newbury Guest House. It is a smaller hotel/inn in a great Back Bay location. The rooms range from $125 to $175 depending on room type and time of year. Continental breakfast is included in the rate. We thought it was charming.

I got a good deal on the Lenox from their website. It has old Boston charm and is very central at the Prudential Center.
