About how much for a 7 day cruise to Alaska?
 

Leaving out of Seattle or Vancouver? Just curious what kind of price are we looking at? I am considering Princess or Celebrity and taking two teenage kids.

about $1400 pp for balcony cabin ( yes, for this particular cruise due to exceptional scenery) PLUS air from wherever you are flying from..

Our air from the East coast ran us $550 pp....

This is on Holland America...........

oops=forgot to tell you- this is Seattle-Alaska-Seattle...

But, try to Inside Passage INTO Vancouver and OUT of Anchorage as that is the better itinerary...

If you are on a tight budget, consider the Alaska Marine Highway instead of a cruise. It is a fun adventure. When I did it, I left out of Bellingham.

We (wife, 2 sons and myself) went on the Sun Princess in summer 2002. We had an outside room with obstructed view. I think we paid $999 each for the adults and $499 each for the kids (we had a room for 4 - it was a little crowded, but we didn't do anything there except sleep and shower).

This was for Vancouver to Seward on July 24.

Vancouver was an interesting city to explore for a day or so before going on the cruise. If you are driving to the departure city - MAKE SURE YOU RESERVE A PLACE TO PARK YOUR CAR!!!!
