ABC home...what is it?

I am in the process of planning our trip to NYC and I keep seeing references to the "ABC Home." What is it? Where is it?

ABC Carpet, I'll bet is the store you are referring to. It is on Broadway at 17th-18th St on the east side of broadway, and is a wonderful multifloor offering of unusual things, home furnishings, furniture, linnens, and more. One of my fav's in the city.

Bring lots of credit cards, lol.

Yes, it's a very large home store. Across the street is the store's multi floor carpet retail store. The neighborhood offers a lot of fun houseware and furnishing retailers to choose from.

Also right in that area are Fishes Eddy and The Bulb Store, really fun shopping.

It's a great store, but be forewarned: It's expensive! (P.S.: They do have an outlet store in the Bronx, just off the Bronx River Parkway!)

Visit, gawk, and stare in awe at the wonderful home things at ABC...it's like a museum. I don't know anyone who buys there, but it's GREAT for looking!
