A week hiking in Sedona (Thanksgiving)

Well, it took 9 months but I finally decided to post our photos from our trip to Sedona. The trip was last Thanksgiving and we spent 7 nights in the area hiking some 40 miles of trails. Great, relaxing holiday with great weather. Kids were 15 & 12 at the time.

Found the "Great Sedona Hikes" book to be an excellent reference.

We self catered most nights but did enjoy Dahl and Deluca for a nice meal out. Picazzo's was nice casual fair. Our Thanksgiving meal at the Golden Goose didn't quite measure up though.

Great report, thank you!
We just came back from Bernese Oberland and your report was very helpful during our trip. We are going to Sedona this Thankgiving so this report is very timely!

Great TR. It looks like you had perfect weather for hiking. If you like the red rock, check out the Moab area for Arches, Canyonlands and the surrounding areas.

We went back for another Thanksgiving week this year. More hiking and glorious scenery and a few National Monuments as well. Enjoy.
