A wedding gone wrong - gone right story

This may not last on the board, but with all the previous discussions on this board I thought this was a great story.

Groom-to-be cheats. Bride cancels wedding. Bride & mom found out the reception venue is not cancellable.

She turns the planned reception to a fundraiser for charities.

Just makes me smile!

Love those stories! My high school class had a 39-year reunion, rather than a 40th, to take advantage of an uncancellable wedding reservation at a very nice location. Not as noble as a charity event, but an excellent recycling strategy, nonetheless.

Dadnabbit, can you tell I'm a little pumped for a trip! LMAO

That was supposed to be HEY, not hwy. ;-) I better go to bed.

Hi saw a photo of this beautiful and lovely lady. A striking and very intelligant looking blonde. I would imagine her dippy fiance will rue the day he lost her. I was in awe of how she handled this heartbreak. Talk about taking a lemon and making lemonaid, or limoncello as the case may be. I am sure she realizes how fortunate she was to find how about this jerk before and not after the wedding.
