A question regarding war times
 

I will be travelling for the first time in your wonderful country in Febuary,what will I find to be different in case of an Anerican invasion of Iraq in terms of limitations or controls?

Dont' you worry a bit, come over here and see how we can overcome our odds and make this country the fantastic place to live in that it is. Naturally, you're going to get some people like the first poster, but you get those anywhere. Keep your head up high, and realize most of us in this country are d**n proud to live here and will be willing to show you what the United States is all about - I haven't seen any restrictions to worry about at normal tourist areas, so come on over and enjoy yourself! Where do you have plans to go?

I will be coming for business in NY and Chicago but then I want to take advantage and travel to Florida,California and Washington State. Their are so many places that I would live to visit that maybe I shouls stay a couple of years

There was nothing different here during the Gulf War. No reason things will be different this time, if there were to be a war.

I hope you can ignore the vulgarity of some of the posters answering your question.<BR><BR>Many (dare I say most) of us hope that the US won't be at war with Iraq in February or ever. But if we are you shouldn't find yourself limited or restricted in any unusual way. No one can predict absolutely what might or might not happen, but I think the thing you'll most notice is the US media obsessed with analyzing every shred of information which emerges.<BR><BR>NY and Chicago are great cities and your other choices are fine places to see. Hope you have a wonderful trip. The vast majority of Americans welcome the chance to share their country with visitors.
