A question about Pinon in Santa Fe
A few years ago, I had a tiny little adobe house that houses little tiny bricks of SW pinon scents that burned in the little house. like incense. I really loved it.
I will be in Santa Fe at Christmas and wonder if it's possible to buy any SW scents to burn...like Pinon. Any idea if I can buy any such thing to bring home? I would love it if I could find something. |
Most gift shops will have incense with SW fragrances like pinon. Sage smudge sticks are even better. These are also widely available.
This should give you an idea of what I am talking about: http://www.matoska.com/cgibin/gencat...S1S2=84%2CNULL Debi |
Sounds great Debi, or should I say, smells great!
But what are these bigger bundles used for? Fireplaces? I'm happy to hear I won't have a problem finding SW scents to bring hone. |
This will tell you a bit more about smudging. You can also google "smudge stick" to find more:

My neigbor who works as a medical doctor cleans her apartment with sage smudge. Something about bringing back bad energy from the hospital to her apt. I started doing it and really liked it. It feels clean is all I can explain.

I just read more about smudging.
I must admit, I've never heard of it , but I'm willing to give it a try. I'll have to buy some smudge sticks when I'm in NM. It sounds like I need a feather too. I can't wait to smell the smudge sticks. |
