A place to meet between St. Pete and Sarasota
 

Easter week I am to meet an associate between St. Petersburg and Sarasota. Can anyone suggust a coffee shop or something similiar approx. half between the two cities. Preferably near the highway (75 or 275).

The Cracker Barrrel at the Hwy 64 exit is good because you can sit and rock while you wait. I don't know the exit number but it is on the northwest corner of I-75 and Hwy 64 just outside of Bradenton.

How about Skyway Jack's? It's not fancy, but it's just off the highway after crossing the Skyway Bridge, and it's a St. Pete institution for breakfast. http://tampabay.citysearch.com/profile/11341860

The Ellenton mall has a food court. The mall is a large outdoor mall but the food court is inside. It is high-end name-brand shopping. You can't miss it, it's huge.

The Cracker Barrel suggestion might be good assuming you want a hearty breaksfast. If you just want to meet for coffee you might come a couple of exits further south to University Parkway and travel west for about a mile to a Starbucks.
