A non-buffet breakfast on the strip
Hi,
I am staying at the venetian and am wondering if there is a coffeehouse type restaurant in the venetian to get a regular breakfast...eggs, bacon, and toast. If not is there a good place near the venetian to get a good breakfast that is not a buffet?

Grand Lux Café is the Venetian's 24 hour cafe. It's a fancier version of The Cheesecake Factory (and part of that chain). I've had very good pancakes there, and its reputation is for good basic food. Warning: portions are large!
If you want something fancier, go to Bouchon, also at the Venetian. It's not cheap, but it has excellent omelets and other simple dishes.

Bouchon, at the Venetian, has a lovely breakfast that is very civilized. I do not find it to be any more expensive than any typical upscale restaurant breakfast. You can even sit outside on the patio if the weather is good.
Sorry, I just saw that you said coffe house....which this is not, but if you want to have a treat one morning, try it.

We had a wonderful lunch at Bouchon, and I picked up a breakfast menu. If we had been staying at the Venetian, we'd have been eating breakfast there every day. And yes, I was shocked at how reasonable it seemed.

If you're just looking for basic and cheap, there is a Denny's that's close- it's towards the Flamingo/ Paris etc (sorry, I'm horrible with actual directions and too lazy to look at a map right now!).

We stayed at the Venetian in December. Almost every morning we'd hop on the elevator and down to the bakery area of Bouchon for lovely pastries and the BEST coffee of the entire resort. If you are a morning person, head to their restaurant for breakfast. Other than that, room service is terrific.

I just noticed the "eggs, bacon and toast"...oops! Well, I can tell you don't go the food court and have coffee at the Coffee Bean - HORRID! If you want the aforementioned, room service is so easy and good.
