A nice hotel or resort for a family
I am looking for a nice hotel or might be a resort to stay in a location convenient to the Disney Parks. I would like a nice,, quality place. Family is composed by parents and four children aged 16,15,10 and 5 years old. They are coming from overseas and will stay only two nights but their parents wish to make it a nice stay. Budget would be 550 per night for all of them.
Any recommendation.? They are European and in a way a little conventional.

I would, first of all, check on packages for inside Disney World. That is the most convienent and fun. Second, I would check the hotels listed here:http://www.frommers.com/destinations...49_indacc.html Making sure they have a bus to take your friends to the gate of Disney World. If you find a hotel you like, double check it by checking with Tripadvisor.com for ratings.

Disney Caribbean Beach resort is on the grounds, reasonably priced, offers transportation to the parks, and the kids under 17 stay free in the parents room... they would also need park passes.... call the resort for packages

I think Europeans get different (better) offers for Disney hotel stays so they might be better to check with an agency over there.
For just a two night stay, they are better off staying right at the park, the Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Grand Floridian maybe...but accomodations for 6 are tight onsite. They'd need two rooms so their budget is really only $275 per room.
Also, if they're staying only two nights, that only gives them one day at the park depending on when they arrive into Orlando etc. Hotel check in time is 3pm or 4pm on that first day. Tickets to the parks are in the $100 per person per day range for two day visits.
