A "mini" Las Vegas?

I am looking for a place in Tennessee that is considered by many as a "mini" Las Vegas - casinos, shows, etc. Please respond if you know about this place - give name of city, location and other specifics.
Thanks much!

Just punch up "Tunica" on any search engine.
Tunica, Mississippi is about 30 minutes from downtown Memphis. It's amazingly like Las Vegas in that it simply appears out of nowhere...it's surrounded by flat farmland. There are lots of casinos/hotels...most of which are relatively new. For further information, use your search engine. One word of caution: unless you love gambling, don't go there. There is absolutely nothing else there...no non-hotel restaurants, no nothing.

Tunica, well ok? But the place you are looking for is, I believe, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and where all of the Country Music singers go. I have a Rand Mc Nally map/book of the USA and in the back are coupons that you send to different places for information and it has a big advertisement for Gatlinburg, Tenn. Or you can surf the net and find it. I just found it for someone else last week. E mail me if you need more help. I was there 10 years ago and loved it!!
