We will be in Maine for a couple of days and 2 of us are looking for a place to stay in either Camden or Portland. We will be sightseeing in Camden (the middle of June) before heading back south to Boston Ma.
Can anyone suggest a scenic place to stay while in Maine in either Portland or Camden? ( Preference 3 to 4 stars. hotels ,inns, cottages, bed and breakfast ,or small hotels)

I do have two spots in Camden. Has anyone stayed at either of these?
1. Beloin's on the Maine Coast
2. Blackhorse Inn

A few years ago we stayed at the Timbercliffe Lodge B & B in Camden. It is out of town, about a mile, just off route 1, and is on a hill overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the owners. They have off season rates for the first part of June. It was quiet and only one other couple stayed the two nights we were there. It was recommended on this site by someone else.

I see that off season ends the 2nd week of June as I have checked on some Maine websites. We will have to plan our trip a week earlier than expected.

1. Does anyone know any Portland accomadations as well?
2. Has anyone stayed at (Beloin's on the Maine Coast) in Camden?

When we were in Camden we stayed at The Lord Camden Inn-it is in a great location for walking around Camden-walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The breakfast at the inn was wonderful.
