A Love Letter to NYC (in Photos)

Twenty-one years of living in NYC and I'm still (relatively) sane? That deserves a nice, long blog post! :)

Happy to be the first to thank you for this. breathtaking pictures. Just back from a weekend in NYC and still energized. Yes, I believe you are a New Yorker for life. Good work

Oh what a wonderful tribute to your city ! I have travelled to many places in the world over the years but since I struck New York I struggle to want to holiday anywhere else. Tracey you are living my dream ! Thank you and keep enjoying !

Tracey, a wonderful report. Great writing and great photos.

As a New Yorker - born and bred - I appreciate all of it.

As to sanity - that is rather subjective. To you and me what is sane would be considered insane by someone who doesn't live here.

Example: Taking the Lexington Avenue subway line just about anytime during a weekday would be considered insane by many but to a NYer it would be just a normal thing.

Thanks, everyone - it's always nice to hear from folks who love the city as much as I do! Now, if only this endless winter would just pack it up already...

Oh, how I wish I'd had your nerve back when I was young and free enough to move far from home. Thanks for sharing your love affair with NYC!

Hi Tracey,
I loved NYC, too! I really enjoyed reading your blog and great photos! It made me laugh a few times with your spot on observations. I'm taking notes for some restaurants to try when we come visit this September.

You got me when you mentioned that you had been locked in a public restroom on one of the swankiest streets of Paris. I, too, had a similar experience in Nice, France so I signed up to your blog and hope to hear more about this. I never thought I hear from another traveler that experienced the same. LOL!

Thanks for sharing and keep on writing and taking photos of NYC!

Love it :-) I'm also in love with your city, but live on the other side of the world... visited twice and found it so hard to leave both times
