A day in Sioux Falls

I'm staying is Sioux Falls for a Saturday at the end of the month. I'm looking for any suggestions on things to see/do?

Do what those who live in Sioux Falls do. Sleep late, eat breakfast, watch television, go to your wedding, go to bed and dream about living in Minnesota. Sioux Falls is known for short commutes, good roads, no corporate taxes, and low workers' compensation rates. It's not the end of the earth, but you can see it from there.

LOL, Woody! When I was growing up in a town of 8,000 in Iowa, I wished that I could live in a "big city" like Sioux Falls - it's funny how everything is relative! Adeline, while Sioux Falls isn't a tourist mecca, to be sure, there are some things you might like to check out. There is a zoo, a butterfly house, the Old Courthouse Museum, and the Great Bear Recreation Park, if you like skiing/tubing/etc. (and if the weather cooperates). Hope you enjoy your trip!

VAmom - really is relative. My wife grew up in an Iowa town of 800. She tells me how she used to wish they lived in the "big city" of Ft Dodge!!

VAmom, I'm not sure your list of things to do is really boosting Sioux Falls' reputation. At least you didn't add that there is a small aviary out the nursing home, an aquarium at the beauty shoppe, and an outlet mall with a Samsonite showroom. Woody
