A day at Mt Hood, OR?
 

Hi - I'm going to Sisters, OR in July (my first trip to OR) and want to drive up to Mt Hood for a day trip. I believe it's about 2 1/2 hours of driving, so I don't know how much I'd get to see. I know for sure that I'd like to see the Timberline Lodge and take the Magic Mile chair lift up the mountain. I'm wondering how much time you recommend I allow myself to enjoy the day and what else I should see on Mt Hood or on the way. Thanks!
