A car or no car at Disneyworld in Dec?

Thanks for all of the great advice. We're traveling with 2 kids - 7 and 11, and definitely want to do Sea World one day. We're going to have to figure out how to rent a car for just a day if we decide not to have one the whole time.
Is there a shuttle that takes you off site to, say, the grocery store or anywhere near one? We have the meal plan so don't anticipate needing much food but some breakfast items and snacks would be good.

Not sure about the shuttle question. I don't think there is a direct shuttle to anything other than Disney sites, but I believe I've heard that some people have taken the Downtown Disney Shuttle and then walked to nearby grocery stores. Can't be more specific than that (sorry!)

I'm sure you can make an in-town rental for one day. I know that Enterprise has about dozen Orlando locations *and* they will pick you up from your resort. Might be your best bet --
