A Beautiful Bike Ride in Southern Delaware (Rehoboth, Bethany)

In a noted departure from my usual overly-verbose trip report style, I just wanted to say that cycling up the bike lane alongside US1 north of Bethany Beach to the bridge between Bethany & Dewey Beach must be up there as one of the mot beautiful bike rides I've done, with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the grassy, cottage-lined inlets of the Rehoboth Bay on the other in the Delaware Seashore Park.

Posting this for those who like to incorporate an interesting bike ride when they travel. For those lacking their own wheels, Rehoboth Beach is accessible by DART Bus from Wilmington in the summer.

Thanks, Daniel. I always love to hear about a nice ride.

I'm doing this ride in the fall:

All of us bikers in Virginia are eagerly awaiting the opening of the Virginia Capital trail:

Thanks Birdie,

That Capital Trail is something to look forward to; a great way to explore a historic part of Virginia (and an excuse to visit my Alma Mater, William & Mary, which I've not seen in 20 years!).

Best wishes, Daniel
