A 2012 Hawaii Countdown
 

As 2011 closes, we are looking forward only three months!! March!! for our next Hawaii fix.

You have the Hawaii fever. I know, I am suffering from the same ailment.

My very first trip is in 2012 - July!!! We are going to the Big Island and Kauai. I can't wait.

We are returning in May. My husband won a three day trip that we have expanded into 16! He even won the airfare so that made it extra special INDEED!

We are probably looking at the early 2013.

We're in south Kona now (til Saturday) and will return here in mid-Februry 2012!!

Well, we head to Kona again in March for 3 weeks. It's practically our second home. (Don't I wish!)

First time ever for us to Hawaii in March 2010...five islands with Road Scholar aboard Pride of America. But first came a few days in Honolulu incl. visit to U.S.S. Arizona Memorial. It was 70 years ago today that Pearl Harbor was attacked. A pause to remember.

Back to Maui again in the first part of February. I've already started packing. :-)

iowagirl, I haven't started packing, but my Hawaii clothes are all hanging together in the spare closet.

Just put award tickets on hold for 2 weeks next October. We'll be flying into Kona, stay for 4 nights, then fly to Maui for the remainder of our stay. It's been way too long since we've been to Hawaii and I'm really excited!!

DH and I will escape Chicago winter in early January for our condo in South Maui. Returning late February. We've only touched base in Honolulu briefly in the last ten years. DH and I had spent two to four weeks on all of the four major islands for years before being tempted to buy. This is the longest we've stayed. (We'll see how we do in only 1000 sq ft of space for two months! LOL)

We leave tomorrow for 10 nights on Maui & the Big Island. Counting the minutes! :)

I was reminded of "Hawaiian clothes" charnees when viewing "The Descendants" movie. Traveling from most places in the U. S. you have to shed winter wear for summer wear...and colorful at that!

13 days and counting! BI for 11 days! YAY~

May 26th 1 week on Maui. It can not come soon enough :)

18 days til we have 4 days on Oahu (our first time there) and then 24 days on the Big Island. So ready to get away from the cold!

June this year for us!
