7 day Big Island flying into Kona ? depart for LIH from ITO
We are spending 7 days exploring the Big Island by car in late April before flying to Kauai. Flying into Kona. There are direct nonstop flight to LIH from KOA but should we consider flying out of Hilo with stop in HNL to allow one direction travel? Our flight to KOA arrives at 6:45pm if we fly in and out of Kona is there a 7 day itinerary that could be recommended to include Volcano NP and Hilo returnig to Kona for our 9:30am flight? Thanks.

there are multiple routes:
go to google maps and enter:
Kailua-Kona - Hilo - Hawaii Volcanoes NP - Kailua-Kona
to see one loop by car.
on another query, choose the Transit option and enter Kailua-Kona - Hilo
and you wouild see additional routes that you could drive.
