$600 OFF AIRFARE!!
Is this legit?
I received an email advertising "$600 OFF AIRFARE". I proceded to "websitebooking.com" where I was asked to register and send a check for $34.95. |
First, no this is probably not legit... or if it is legit, you need to realize what $600 in cash discounts really means. They don't say it is a discount for $600 they say it is multiple discounts worth $600.
It could very well be discounts that are free for the taking through other means that they have simply compiled. My guess is, that many of the discounts are small $20 etc. but in combination worth $600. Problem is (my guess), if you used all $600 worth of discounts you might be spending thousands and thousands of dollars. So the percentage saved would be VERY small. |
caveat emptor....$600 OFF AIRFARE might be a true statement.....First Class as opposed to Economy....

Especially in the travel industry.
'If it sounds too good to be true......' |
The sending money part should have alerted you to a scam...you'd be better off joining Costco and using their discount travel service!
