6 days in Sedona: things to do
 

Hi,

My husband and I are traveling to Sedona for 6 days April 17-23.
We will be staying at the Amara Resort and Spa.

We would love some recommendations on must see/ do things in Sedona, we would also love some tips on best hiking and restaurants in the area.

Shugrue's Hillside has been gone for awhile, replaced by The Hudson which has more of a slick city feel. The views are still wonderful but we weren't thrilled by the food.

For a nice casual lunch, check out Indian Gardens about 8 miles north of Sedona on Hwy 89A. For a fantastic wine bar (they have beer and food too), don't miss Vino di Sedona on the west side of town.

I visited all of the wineries in the area and my favorite was Alcantara between Cottonwood and Camp Verde.

I love the West Fork hike - it's beautiful and very easy. Get there early, though, as parking is a bear. Agree - Cornville/Paige Springs for wine tasting.

A day trip to Jerome is nice - as well as a drive up Oak Creek Canyon.

Lunch at Enchantment; there is a nice hike there too that is open to public: Boynton Canyon Trail and Boyton Vortex Trail.

Dinner at L'Auberge.
