50th Birthday Get Away
 

My husband turns 50 December 15th. I would like to take him away for a fun/memorable weekend. Any suggestions?

Where are you coming from?

Fly or drive?

Warm weather or cold weather?

City or resort town?

coming from northwest pa. Could fly or drive, weather doesn't matter but frequent naples, Fl regularly. Budget-max $3500

How about Aruba?

Vegas would also be a blast but mid December would be cold.

The biggest downfall of the above two is the long flight for just a weekend.

How about a luxury NYC trip?

I'm taking my husband on an early 50th birthday trip next June with the entire family. Could you go early or postpone until you have more time?

First two weeks are a great time to travel in the caribbean as rate plummet.

Just returned from a 3 night vacation at Caesar's Pocono Palace (only a 2 hour drive from Monmouth Cty, NJ)... I must say we had a blast! Tons of things to do... even if it's a rainy day! Lovely grounds, fun rooms (with fireplaces, some w/ pools, etc.) Live entertainment, nice people to sit with and later share a drink with at the show... a very fun, stress-free vacation for a couple!
