We had fun whale-watching on the Aquarium tour. We saw several hump-backed whales. Especially a group of three together, which is unusual I guess in a feeding ground. We saw the three of them several times, and I got lots of cool pictures.

We chose Lucca for dinner, after our tour. It was very good, and nice to be there on a quieter night than last night. Excellent service and very nice atmosphere, too.

Boston has been impressive to visit.

I stayed at the Boston Park Plaza about 10 years ago. We ate at a restaurant not far from the hotel and took a cab to get there. The name of the restaurant is No Name restaurant. We had a fabulous lobster there.I'm not sure what part of Boston it's in (I think it is the Back Bay area) We also ate at Leagal Seafood which was just a very short walk from the hotel and loved it. We had lobster there along with crab cakes and chowder. I am looking forward to going back in the next few years. We loved the hotel and it was interesting when we were told how many different Presidents had stayed there. Have a great time!

Funny you mention No Name, we grew up eating there and hadn't been for a but and had heard a few complaints - but my husband took a group of clients a few days ago and everyone enjoyed their meal and thought it was fresh and wonderful - yes, you are in paper cups, etc but that's part of the 'charm' -
fyi: it's on the fish pier

I have had good experiences at Artu' and Saraceno,

And as escargot said, the No Name is on Fish Pier, which is in South Boston close to World Trade Center and Seaport Hotel.
