5 days last week of March -- Any suggestions for a nice warm place?
Hello,
My husband and I wanted to make a trip for 5 days in the last week of March, to some warm place(>70 F). We would love to go to some place, with a little bit of natural beauty, that has come good activities to do...
We have already considered the following destinations, and were looking for suggestions other than these:
1. New Orleans, LA -- except for good food/restaurants/bars, we are not sure if there is anything else to do in this place
2. Key west, FL/Miami, FL -- we have been here before, and would prefer going to a new place..
3. Napa, CA -- We are not sure if going here is good for March? as it is still quite cold there..
Thanks

St. Augustine, FL. America's oldest city has tons of history and the historic district is very walkable. It also features very good beaches, many excellent & reasonable restaurants, art galleries and shopping (two outlet malls close by). Best of all, few crowds.

Sarasota, FL: art, music, literature, circus, good food, beaches, and it should be reliably warm by then.
I have been to Napa-Sonoma in March. It is bare, but the weather was very pleasant for sightseeing. Not at all crowded. It can rain, but it didn't rain on us.

Where are you starting from? San Diego (pretty warm but weird weather right now, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Cabo, and the beat goes on.
Was just in Phoenix and it was beautiful and there is more to do there than in Tuscon, plus you could zip up to Sedona or the Grand Canyon for a day or two.

We enjoyed San Diego in March. Weather was mostly warm, and it was a good time to go whale watching.
San Antonio will be nice in March also. Lots of things to do there and in the nearby Hill Country.

Thanks for these awesome suggestions. We'll be starting from New York..so FL options are really good. I'll look into St Augustine and Sarasota. Also, will check out the Arizona options. We have already been to San Diego...But will checkout how napa weather looks like for this month...
Thanks a lot!

The Georgia Isles. Jeckyll Island has wonderful natural spaces, bike trails and a couple of excellent restaurants. Cumberland Island is a beautiful natural preserve with a gorgeous beach. Perfect time of year to see it.
