5 and 7 year old too young for epcot?
 

just wondering if my 5 and 7 year old would be to little to get any thing out of epcot. <BR> <BR>thanks for input

I have been to Epcot many, many times, and believe that there is plenty for a 5 and 7 year old to enjoy with the right attitude. Many people go to Epcot automatically assuming their kids will hate it. They probably will enjoy Future World more, with all the hands-on technology that they can play with. It also has more rides and attractions (Ellen's Energy Adventure, Spaceship Earth, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, etc.). However, they may also enjoy World Showcase if you plan it right. At World Showcase, you can purchase a "passport" for each of them. Go to each country and a cast member will stamp the passport and write a greeting in his or her native language. Also, all the countries have "Kid Stops" where cast members will sit and do crafts with the kids. Your children may also like playing on the Viking ship at Norway, the Maelstrom ride at that same pavilion, as well as the "Rio del Tiempo" ride at Mexico. There are also a lot of fun street performers. Please let me know if you need any more information.

If 5 and 7 aren't perfect ages to visit WDW I can't imagine what ages are!

Susan, <BR> <BR>IMO, it really depends on what your kids like. I have three, ages 8 - 14. We live in FL so we get to Disney at least twice a year. Epcot has been the kids'least favorite of the parks in Orlando, but they do enjoy it when we go. THey prefer the rides and shows at the other parks. I guess you could say that a bad day at Epcot is still better than a great day at school!
