5 1/2 days in South Beach
 

I will be staying at the Marriott for 4 1/2 days in late Oct. with two girls ages 9 and 12. Will we run out of things to do in S.B. as pedestrians. Would it be worth renting a car for all or part of the time? Thanks.

I would consider renting a car for a day trip to the Everglades.

i think you might be alittle bored. I'd rent a car for part of it . There's shopping in ft lauderdale or the coco walk in coconut grove-- good for a diversion.

I'd rent a car so you have options. Car rentals in Fla. are relatively cheap and driving yourselves to/from the airport makes more sense anyway.

Definitely get a car.

If you go to www.mousesavers.com and click on their rental car deals, they have all the latest deals and codes to use for Florida. Check and see how much the Marriott will charge for parking. If that is free it might end up being not terrible more than the price of taking a taxi to and from the airport.
