ok, on second thought the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is very tempting. If you could drive there then drive on to Glenwood & catch the train there, that might be my suggestion. You could stay in Denver the first night & catch the game, Museum of Natural Science then go west. It would depend on the price of the car rental to drop off in Glenwood.

I agree about the Mint. And the museum, FWIW. ;o)
The OPs "could" expand their time in Colorado, IF they so chose. They are spending a LONG RV trip getting from CA to Phoenix. Just a thought.
