3 nights in Carlsbad
We'll find ourselves there for 3 or 4 nights soon. What resaurants have tasty, but not expensive food?
Excuse the xxx's, but I don't like to get on junk lists.
Try Neimans, Milton's. Head to the Carlsbad Outlet for a day's shopping. Go to Solana Beach for the furniture designers.
How could I forget? go to Fidel's for Mexican food.
Pollos Maria is moderate MExican Food and grilled chicken. The Claim Jumper is very good
Ruby's at the end of the Oceanside Pier is a nice location for a coffee shop.
Ruby's is a 50's style diner as opposed to being a true coffee shop. Definitely a good choice if you have kids with you on the trip.
the outlet mall is out of this world. do not miss it!
Thanks for the suggestions. No kids, just us grown-ups this time, TG. The outlet center sounds good. One question for Steve: Isn't Oceanside some distance away?
Are the flower fields pretty at this time of year?
Oceanside is contiguous to Carlsbad
We'll be heading there next year using our time share. Check out the flower fields at http://www.theflowerfields.com/.

Also check out things to do at
http://www.visitcarlsbad.com/index.cfm.

Enjoy your trip!
