3 nights between SF to LAX

Hi guys! I need help planning my trip from SF to LAX. My boyfriend and I have planned to drive the pacific coast highway and stopping three nights between SF and LAX.
So, which villages do you recommend the most to stay and book an accomodation? And which sights/attractions do you recommend the most to stop? Some restaurants? Wine stops? Paddle surf ideas? Favorite food/general markets?

I would be really grateful if you could help me providing me information about the worthseeing attractions from SF to LAX!

Many thankkkks!!!!

I would head to Monterey/Carmel and spend a night (or two) there. Check out Point Lobos for hiking and amazing views. Then drive as far as you can into Big Sur. You will not be able to drive all the way through as there is a bridge out and a huge mudslide further south. You will have to backtrack and then take the 101 south to Paso Robles.

Paso is a great place for wine tasting. Favorites include: Niner, Halter Ranch, Calcareous, Villa San Juliette, and Sculpterra. Either stay in Paso or drive Hwy 46 West to Cambria. That's where you will pick up Hwy 1 again. A night here before LAX would be perfect. It's a cute town and has a beach side area, Moonstone Beach. You can see Hearst Castle and the Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Rookery nearby.

If you don't want to spend two nights in the Monterey area, I would do one night there, one in Cambria (or Morro Bay or Pismo Beach) and one in Santa Barbara. Paddleboarding can be done in Monterey, Morro Bay, or Santa Barbara.

I'd spend two nights in Monterey and a night in Santa Barbara. Two nights will give you time to see the Aquarium, go kayaking and drive down into the part of Big Sur that is open then backtrack.
If Highway 1 was open I would do Monterey, Cambria or Morrow Bay and Santa Barbara.

I think 2 nights in Monterey/Carmel and then 1 night in either Paso Robles or Santa Barbara is a great idea. I think the choice between Paso or SB is basically how much you are into wine vs how much you want to hang out on the coast.

Instead of Paso Robles or Santa Barbara I would stop at San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach or Cambria.
