You're more likely to encounter police than children in parks nowadays. .. the kids are inside glued to smartphones...

Good point to check about liability insurance. It's something a national organization should have. OP can check to make sure it covers what she plans to do.

In our area there are active skate parks. One is on the grounds of a high school and was built in memory of two students who died.

As gail said, you would at minimum need a CORI check for every place you came in contact with children. These take quite a while to process.

I'm not clear if you know in advance where you will be holding your lessons, or you are doing this on the fly?

Also know that big cities and trailer camping often won't work.
